Just received this from them, maybe the complaint worked maybe it didn't but I will still look out for other tariffs and probably go with Octopus, if anyone still has any feedback I could really appreciate it.

    Kindest regards

    We've reinstated your off-peak tariff

    Meter Point Number: xxxxxxxxxxxx

On 12 June 2025 we wrote to you to say that your tariff Deemed Off peak would be coming to an end on 1 July 2025 and that you would be moved onto a Standard Variable tariff. This was to allow us to simplify our range of tariffs by retiring older ones that were designed for a different energy system.

However, from our records we can see that your consumption pattern means that you would be better off remaining on an off-peak tariff, so we have reinstated your previous off-peak tariff and ensured that it has been retrospectively applied to your account effective from 1 July.

We have reversed all charges relating to the standard variable tariff (you will see this on your next statement) to ensure you continue to retain the benefits of your previous tariff, Deemed Off peak, going forward.

If you have any questions regarding your tariff, please email us on hello@edfenergy.com or call us on 0333 006 9950.

Thank you for being an EDF customer, we apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period.

@diz79 I'm just wondering did you receive the above in an email or letter? I've been having issues with EDF regarding them retiring my tariff and putting myself onto a single standard variable rate despite having a dual rate non RTS meter.

Please keep an eye on your next bill as initially I was placed back onto a dual rate tariff a week after EDF had moved me on to the standard variable but my bill automatically reverted back to being charged a single rate (standard variable), i have now gone onto another tariff EDF says is suitable for my meter and I am awaiting for my next billing cycle to see if it reverts again.
