Recommendations for a 55" TV, circa £400.

In essence, a 55" WiFi (they all are, I know) TV.

Factors that would help; an easy-to-use OS as it'll be WiFi operation only. So, Freely and Chrome sound like good options, but open to other suggestions. And, slimness is nice, tho' not a major factor.

Circa £400.

Thanks

Plenty of choice with reviews on Richer Sounds site. Personally I've got Samsung/LG TVs

If on a fixed budget, there will always be a compromise. If no aerial, then you are going to need something like Freely or IPTV.
So then you are limited to TVs that have Freely installed or you'll need to buy a box or install an application(Android or Fire TV) that supports IPTV. Then you'll need to decide on the IPTV provider. Costs of which vary.
I wouldn't ever depend on any TV Browser to stay relevant for any amount of time.

    Thank you.
    Good call, Stubod!
I've suggested the Hisense 55E77NQTUK (actually the 50" version).
QLED, Freely, and a cracking price. £259 on Amazon.
    Thanks.

If you buy from John Lewis or Costco they give you a 5 year warranty. I'm sure I bought a Samsung 55 inch for someone a year ago from Costco and it was about £400. A TV repairer told me to always buy Samsung or LG as they don't go wrong as often as other brands.
