Make sure theres been a financial settlement first, because if there hasn’t theres nothing stop her ex coming for half the house after youd paid it off….

There has been a financial settlement and the house is in my daughters name.

She will have to inform DWP that she no longer has mortgage payments in case she is receiving help towards mortgage interest currently. Obviously if the mortgage is paid in full, anything she is currently receiving from DWP towards the mortgage payments would stop.
