Hi all,
First off can I just say a big thank you to all who support on this forum. The threads are easy to follow with helpful tips for us Newbies!
With my parking charge, I'm currently on the 'Letter of Claim' stage from DCBL legal on behalf of ParkingEye. It's a straightforward case; I believe to have paid the correct tariff at the time and I hold proof of parking, proof of signage at the time and still hold all original receipts and appeals should I need to use for evidence if I am taken to court.
I've followed the thread instructions, emailed DCBL and ParkingEye directly with the LOC claim template only to receive an automated response from DCBL and from ParkingEye, they told me I can only deal with DCBL from now on.
So this was back in February and I've heard nothing since. So my questions really are to others who have had to deal with DCBL/ParkingEye in the past.
How long did they take to reply to your complaint or decided to take your case to court?
Can I relax a bit if they haven't got back to me within 5 months?
Thank you for any help.

The claimant ( Parking Eye, not Private Eye ) has 6 years from the incident date to sue you by starting legal proceedings via an MCOL claim

@Gr1pr Thank you for the reply
The incident was over 3 years ago, so looks like I have another 3 until I can fully relax!
But I was just trying to get an idea from others how long they've waited for a response or heard about court proceedings. I've seen a few on here a month or so after the LoC was recieved or if like me still waiting0 -
Looks like DCB Legal have let your case slide a bit but I would expect a court claim form, which is the point where you win!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
