    Yet if a carry a Knife in Public i will be arrested and convicted because hypothetacally I may harm someone with it.
    No you get arrested because there is explicit law against carry weapons in public unless you have a reasonable reason for doing so (eg Chefs carry their knives to work if they're a private chef or provide temp cover etc)

    It will have been reported to the ICO and they have the power to fine the company if they have been negligent (akin to your being arrested). You similarly cannot claim compensation if you happen to see someone carrying a knife even if you claim it's made you more scared to go out in public or whatever.

     Under the UK GDPR, individuals have the right to claim compensation if they suffer material or non-material damage as a result of a data breach.
    AI makes mistakes so don't believe that. 

    The regulator (ICO) doesn't award compensation.

     If the organisation who had the breach doesn't give compensation (which anyway is normally minor and something like protective CIFAS registration or a year of identity theft monitoring) then you'd need to sue in court but even then you'll only get any proven financial loss.
