Specsavers refund period exceeded. Can I still claim?

I bought a pair of in-the-ear hearing aids on1/10/24 and they keep falling out. Due to my husband dying, I missed the refund cut-off day. Wearing the aids while doing normal activities is very different to sitting still in an audiologist's office. I should have been prescribed behind-the ear-models that stay in better.

You'll have to ask Specsavers for a solution, not random internet forums.
Surely you would have had a fitting session and seen how secure the devices were?
As for thinking Specsavers should've prescribed a different style, that sounds like buyers remorse rather than any fault of the seller.0 -
Nothing to stop you asking Specsavers. If you don't ask you don't get0

I think 9 months is pushing the 100 day refund policy a bit far.0

Might just need some bigger rubber ends on them. 🤷♀️Life in the slow lane1

In my experience Specsavers is one of the better retailers for customer care and flexibility.
Ask them.1 -

I know they get knocked a lot on here but I've always found the branch I deal with to be excellent.
I suffer from a serious eye condition that can flare up quite frequently and I've found their advice very helpful.1
