Fitted sheets

Options
Not sure whether this is the correct forum/

We have a new bed with an extra depth mattress, approximately 11" deep.

Is it best to buy fitted sheets which are larger in size?

Can anyone recommend brands?

Thank you

John Lewis do extra deep fitted sheets in their own brand ranges - currently they have options for ~£20 up to ~£140 depending on size, thread count etc.

These extra deep sheets (double size) are also suitable for normal depth European Standard Doubles (which are a bit wider than a UK double).

    Ooh, good advice.
I think it's clear that you don't go 'oversized' on your sheet, as that will make them loose and wrinkly.
I have this issue myself (behave) with our new Emma mattress, which is noticeably thicker than our previous one, and the fitted sheets pull away at the corners when I get into bed.
So I'll be checking out the suggestions above.

    Thanks for advice, much appreciated.

The mattress depth is 11" and need fitted sheets which fit the closest.  If the sheets are a little large at the corners, would sheet suspenders help to tighten?

I don't want to buy then have to return.

I've not had a problem with using the JL deep doubles on a European double mattress - they stay put!
