Alleged offence 2.5 years ago. Only recently became aware of the issue having suddenly received solicitors letter then court action claim form from Civil National Business Centre  naming the Defendant as me ‘The driver’. I’m the registered keeper. Have completed acknowledgement of service via MCOL but need help with Defence. Claimant Euro Car Parks Ltd. Solicitor DBC Legal who say they have camera footage of the vehicle entering and exiting the car park. Claim: No valid P&D/permit was purchased by Driver. I have no recollection of the alleged offence. Please help if possible. Thankyou

There was no offence,  just an alleged breach of the parking contract on that private property

What's the Issue Date top right?

Very easy to defend using the template but you may want to wait as I will be shortening it this week and changing the advice to tell people to put the defence in in MCOL not by email.

@Coupon-mad   Agreed and good
Logging via MCOl saves two issues
1. No more having to sign documents and email them
2. Defences are automatically logged as submitted and then logged as received with a timestamp. Removes possibility of CCJ.  All they need now is a portal for n180s like the new money claim site.....
