Or whatever it is called nowadays?
I did employed work from August 2023 to end of that tax year, and then from April 2024 to end of July 2024 in following tax year, earning around 400 per week.
At end of January 2026, would I potentially be able to claim contribution based jsa ?
Thanks

Agree, probably not.
Look at claiming UC.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.1 -

Best option is to take some temporary work while you search for permanent work. UK jobs market similar to many countries is very challenging at the moment. Unless you have technical skills that are in high demand. For normal jobs, there are few permanent vacancies. The comments I post are personal opinion.
