Wife wants an Air Fryer
It needs to be a dual drawer (we think !) - vertical (small kitchen)
Which is the one to buy ?
Ninja is a little too expensive (£270)

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Amazon has the smaller Ninja Stack at £200, so still pricy but a fair chunk lower than you're quoting. Prime day also starts tomorrow so potentially discounted

The stacked ones are actually quite a bit bigger than they look in the images, it is worth checking out the footprint and seeing if they make sense for you vs the side by side dual draw ones.

I agree with Dull, Prime week starts tomorrow so there will potentially be some good deals, John Lewis also have a sale on and they have some pretty reasonable discounts as well.

If the OP has access, or a friend who has access, Costco have a two-drawer air fryer at under £100:

My Mum recently purchased a Ninja air fryer and, whatever the OP chooses to buy, it is worth checking the smoothness of the operation as Mum finds it a bit difficult to push the drawer full closed / pull the drawer open.

I have read poor reviews of the stacked air fryers, so it's worth doing more research. I think the issue was to do with the hot air not being above each individual tray, leading to less even cooking than you would get in a side-by-side layout.

The most useful part of ours is a viewing window so you can see where it's up to without opening the drawer.

I would suggest that if it's your first air fryer to just get a cheap and cheerful one from a supermarket to see of you actually like them first. Asda have them for around £25.  I spent a fortune on buying a Ninja and found that they are really not for me.  Even if you buy a big one (which I did) there is still a limit on what you can cook in them so you end up cooking in batches so you then have the hassle of keeping things warm. I find I only use mine now to cook small things or reheating.  Don't spend your money until you're sure you like it.  I'd even be tempted to see if you could borrow one from a friend or family member first.

I agree with @GrubbyGirl_2 Don't waste money on a tiny and expensive fan oven, also known as an air fryer.. Even a double stack is a mere 9.5l in capacity.  You can get an inexpensive and larger capacity 'Halogen' type air fryer/fan oven, 12 to 17l for less than £40. You can at least bake a small pizza in them. www.amazon.co.uk/Daewoo-Self-Cleaning-Adjustable-Temperature-Accessories/dp/B07S1D9VJY/
If you really want to spend more, get something useful.

I have a Tefal Easy Fry & Grill XXL; I am very pleased with it and use it almost daily.
Its 6.5 litres is big enough for my needs and my use of oven & hob has significantly reduced.
The thing I would change is the max temp is 220, but I wish it went to 240.
I bought it on a promotion at the Tefal outlet at Gunwharfe Quays some time ago.
For other options I previously recommended someone buy a Ninja, but that was in pre-Tariff times.
A stacked one wouldn't work for me due to my kitchen work surfaces & overhead cupboards.

    Thanks all for the advice
We ordered a Ninja from Amazon - a largish single compartment one !
