The basic answers are that it isn't a fine, it's an invoice and you don't pay.

Lots of info on the stickies apparently on what to do and not do.  As I understand it you now wait until they issue court proceedings which may take a couple of years.

But what I don't understand is what you say about going inside and paying.  For what? The £7 for dropping someone off??

ELMS LEGAL LIMITED are proceeding with a bristol airport related claim. I briefly stopped to a standstill at a mini roundabout prior to entering their paid collect/drop off car park and i need to respond to a claim form as they claim that by driving on to their private land that i entered into a contract.  do I use the same defence as the one I used for a DCB legal claim https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6613141/dcb-legal-cp-plus-groupnexus-court-claim#latest or a different template?

I would suggest that you start over using the new template defence by coupon mad in announcements,  first and second posts

Bear in mind that it's likely to go all the way to a court hearing

That transcript is so funny. Everyone should read it to calm nerves about hearings!

    "The sign was the offer..."

What? Purchase of a sign was the consideration in this contract?
