private parking charge (horizon)

Options
Hi there, I got this ticket, with the evidence pics attached.

I tried to argue that there were no road markings, and that in THEIR supplied pics, the signs are not actually next to where I was parked. They rejected my appeal. Do I have fair grounds to appeal this?

(i genuinely didnt see the sign, although it isn't far from where I parked. there is actually free road parking on that road, so i thought that's where I was parking)

    As it's a windscreen PCN, send the template appeal on day 26 (reasons for the delay are in the NEWBIES thread).
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    in the thread it says that appeal on day 26 should be as the keeper not the driver... i think i already accepted that i was the driver in my initial appeal where i said i didnt see any road markings, or the sign

    Oh dear. The driver shouldn't have appealed a windscreen PCN. That's binned the likely POPLA win.

    You can try POPLA if you fancy a whirl (can you prove there is no entrance sign that you had passed on that 'roadway'?) or you could just ignore Horizon and defend a court claim.
