Parking Fine ZZPS AND GCTT

Hi, I have had multiple letters for fines for parking in a car park that was run by smart parking limited. This was in 2019 and early 2020 before the pandemic when I worked nearby
. The issue is its been over 5 years since they have contacted me so I believe its a prescribed debt now. I have spoke to stepchange who have advised to ignore until they send a court action letter. I have recieved letters from ZZPS who have now passed to GCTT. there must be around 100fines. Should I be worried, should I contact to set a payment plan or ignore. I don't want to lose my job over this as can't risk it affecting my credit report.

I should add the car park attendant would say himself as it was in Scotland that an English company couldn't purse us and to continue parking there.0

As you were advised, ignore them unless you receive a court letter, from a sheriff office in Scotland I would assume, which would be unlikely due to the 5 year deadline in Scotland for taking court action
Definitely ignore ZZPS and GCTT, same debt collection company as that letter above tells you, probably the same office, just a different desk2 -
Are you past the Scottish 5 year limitation? If yes, report ZZPS to the CSA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

there must be around 100finesDo you have all these? All from Smart Parking? How many are 'younger' than 5 years old? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Then get the CSA complaint in, for sending letters after the 5 year deadline ( they probably have realised that it's Scotland, not England and Wales0

So definitely report ZZPS to the CSA for lying about litigating statute-barred debts.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"there must be around 100fines" you mean invoices ..... what where you doing to get 100 ? if its didn’t pay / overstay / cos .... they do not chase private parking fines in Scotland ...... then consider you self lucky they DO take cases to court for so many .... what could have been £17,000 +1
