Ruby sorry it's not good news. Where is the common sense in all of this? Keep fighting, We're all behind you xx7

Morning all, thanks Scarlet & fingers crossed everything goes well for DH's tests.Yesterday I got some washing on the line, almost dry and then it started raining, so a mad scramble to get it in - then it stopped about 5 mins later
We have had some heavy rain during the evening and night though.
Ruby, hugs, but how lovely of the home.I've been looking at some prom photos too, the expense must be massive. We had a school mag that we used to get people to sign at the end of the school year. Laughing at the green knickers though YorksLassDH has decided he fancies a Chinese takeaway tonight, who am I to argue. Something we very rarely have!We have an unusual day off from DGS football - their coach gets a bit fidgety when there isn't any, but I know DS2 as his assistant is enjoying a lazy start. Got to admit I do miss the social aspect of hobnobbing with the other parents and grandparents, they're a good lot.Right better go and start the day properly, have a good day all.

RUBY I'm so sorry too. We are all behind you but i wish there was something we could actually do to support you in this.
YL i am still soldering on with my eyes with 3 pairs of specs to hand for what i am on with. I go.back to the cataract clinic for my final check up.on the 16th and then I can finally book Opticians appt for eye test for new varifocals. I can't wait and blow the expense!
My bus ride onwards didn't happen. I got as far as town got a few bits and straight back home! My feet will be up shortly for tennis watching and now there will be cycling to keep flicking to as well!
Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8 -
Good Grief Ruby, where's the sense in their decision. Thankfully Rob has you fighting for him, as others have said we're right behind you.6

Hi everyone,
Ruby, have you asked to see a completed risk assessment that they will have done before making the decision to send him home (chance would be a fine thing). It might make them think.8 -
Popping in while I have a spot of lunch and have just seen your post @Ruby. Words fail me. I hate to think this could end up as one of those "we have learned lessons" events when it could all be avoided by common sense.
Not too long to go then @TA. It must be annoying having to swap glasses all the time. At least I only needed one pair for distance but don't often need to wear them very much outside, apart from when I'm trying to see an approaching bus number! I opted for lenses that allow me to see close up and to my great joy I can even thread needles without difficulty now. The optician said I might need readers at some stage but I'm hoping that doesn't happen.
@Rosy - The headmistress was not amused! After that episode the caretaker was under strict instruction to keep the roof access doors locked at all times - probably on pain of death!Be kind to others and to yourself too.7 -
So sorry @Red Ruby1231. @snoozer raises a valid point. Could you raise an FOI with the powers that be to see the details of the decisions made? I too fear this will be a headline case where Rob slips through the net.Glad ex-SIL stepped up @TravellingAbuela xPark run this morning then helping at the community allotment NGS open day. Chinese take out for tea (snap @RosyRed).Have a good evening all
