Is it only me that occasionally sees posts that don’t mark as read and keep popping back to near the top of the post list?  There’s been several over recent months. None seem to have any comments either - no doubt this won’t show either.

I believe it is a feature of these boards, designed to keep posts with zero replies visible to encourage a reply.

This one should now sink down the board normally.

I think they only get bumped once, but I usually try to add a reply so as to (a) encourage others and (b ) stop them coming back again

It might be forum specific, but there was one on the Mortgage board that was getting bumped repeatedly over about a week or so, and yes, I did comment in the end to let it fall gently down the board.

Agreed, the Tracker thread is a safe place for anything you wish to remain near the top of the board
