Thanks, @PipneyJane. Currently doing pretty well on most fronts. I think watching the sportsball with a drink has slightly curtailed my slimming efforts, but weight is still heading in the right direction. Mostly eating salads and drinking water.

Plus, I'm doing a thing called 'exercise snacks' so every time I boil the kettle, I do 'goblin' squats (I don't think they're actually called that) with a kettle bell I bought from the Sally Army shop.

I went round the garden hacking it, but it was a poor effort. It's been way too hot! Still got loads to do.

My freelance work has been pouring in, so feel pretty good about that! Had to put an out of office on to stop getting new enquiries while I catch up with the work I have. Also, made a couple of really exciting new plans that will really boost my profile. Couldn't be happier!

I still need to sort out some NI stuff before my next quarterly meeting. I'm being very meticulous with my records though. Love a good spreadsheet!

Frugal stuff this week includes sewing up my husband's work trousers - he's really pleased, and it has saved money. My bag needs sewing again though, it's holey, holey, holey, plus it's kind of quirky, so I decided to get a more sensible bag. Again from Sally Army. Only £15, and it's a really nice Clarks leather one, with loads of compartments. I'm so pleased with it! It's the kind of thing I can take to meet clients.

Okay, I'm holding my hands up. I miss the heat!

When it was really hot, I felt awful. I had to drink loads and loads of water, I was exhausted most of the time and felt like I was constantly at war with the sun, seeing it off with Factor 50+ and lots of hiding indoors.

Now that the weather is much more pleasant, my appetite has started to return. I don't want it to! I was losing weight nicely, thank you very much, and my clothes were fitting much better, and on the way to being too loose. Sunshine was my natural Mounjaro.

And I'm still really tired, which is making it worse.

Oh goody, we're back to a horrible heatwave next week. I need to make sure I have lots of salad and protein things to eat, and don't go boozing!

My husband managed to slice his trousers somewhere else, but it was under the pocket, so an easy fix. I got a couple more books out of the library to help inspire us on our weight loss: A Joe Wicks one with lots of exercises in it and The Fitness Chef. I'm trying the Margherita pizza recipe tonight.
