Beware vinted inundated with fake sellers and over cheap listings

I have been using vited for buying for a while and the past few month its gone downhill super fast 

No matter what i search for now theres litterally loads of very clear fake no review seller accounts selling or listing items for ultra cheap prices

Im talking new ninja items of 600 coffee machines for 40 and 50 quid

Tge amount of people watching the itemd is alot too so clearly not everyone can spot a clear fake seller account 

So was just a warning to people 

I reported to vinted and they do nothing and come back saying seller gas not broke any rules

I know fakes on everything and ebay but ive been using ebay since it started and rarely encountered fake profiles and issues like with vinted

Yes. I ordered items from 2 sellers that Vinted have now blocked - I suspect it’s because they are scammers. It’s annoying that my payments are not refunded by Vinted immediately and I have to wait a long time to be refunded.

I had this few weeks ago but because it was something that was vintage i did not think about it being a scam. I had to wait for ky money back too.

So far i much prefer eBay tbh vinted is so bad for this now.

Used to happen a lot, as eBay have increased things like holds and verification over the years I guess it's harder for the scammers to succeed these days but going back maybe 15 years and I used to watch each weekend as an identical set up played out and took around 40k each time. 

Of course reporting to eBay was a waste of time as they did nothing until the bad feedback rolled in by which point the scammers were on to their next account for upcoming weekend.

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

I've recently seen brand new UGG slippers for sale for £7.95, new accounts, no feedback. I wouldn't buy UGGs anyway but it is quite obvious a scam. Reported to vinted but they really don't care. 

I have seen many people say the same on other forums, plenty of fake items being sold and reported but vinted do nothing. I'm not sure why they don't care though.

I agree with JadedAngel88 that if it's too good to be true, it is. I bought a pair of AirPods Max and have had them a week - my phone has told me it is a suspected fake. My daughter visited and tested them and the quality of the sound is terrible. They are a fake but a well made one. The problem is I paid £300 for them!! I have logged a complaint and been told that because I completed the transaction that it is my problem. I have said that is not acceptable and I am waiting for further contact. Anything else that I can do?

As a buyer, only, i noticed a flood of chinese goods this year, i've noticed on Ebay too.
They're both flooded with the items that i look for, their copies reaches into every part of my search parameters.
That old adage, mentioned above, isn't considered by a large part of shoppers and all those purchases just perpetuate the situation/supply.
Actually, Ali Express is the same.

It’s not drama really though is it? It’s just a statement of fact. It was set up in the Far East to sell products for the Far East overseas, always was. AFAIK they only a,low sellers from that area and not anywhere else.
