PS 5 Controller replaced - Reasonable length of time

Last year, (13 months) Sony replaced my daughter's PS 5 Controller with a brand new one. It lasted 14 months
The new one has now developed the same fault as the previous one "Drifting"
Question. Would the Consumer Rights Act (Last a reasonable time) apply to the brand new replacement ot when the PS5 was first bought.
We either have a Controller that is "27 months old" or 13 months
TIA
