Experience with L&Q as freeholder / Victorian conversion flat

Hi everyone,
I am looking for feedback and personal experiences with L&Q as a freeholder—specifically in relation to Victorian conversion flats.
I am currently considering purchasing a flat in a two-flat Victorian conversion in London where L&Q is the freeholder. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with them in a similar setup.
I’m particularly interested in:
- How they handle service charge increases
- Experience with major works
- The process for obtaining consents (e.g. alterations, subletting, etc.)
I understand that they had some negative press regarding escalating service charge increases when it comes to new build so like to understand how this relates to smaller conversion properties.
Thank you!
