Just a follow up.. My car broke down today. Spoke to the dealer again who told me to take him to court and hung up on me. So much for that 3 month warranty.0

Worth it for the £35 (I think) money claim fee? Even if your claim is less than perfect, it sounds like his defence and pre-court actions are worse (ie, no attempt at dispute resolution, etc) so you stand a strong chance.0

Send them letter before action & then take it to court (long wait) Then fully expect them to have closed down & reopened under a new name, even if they do not, do you know that they have the funds to pay you? Meaning you will get nothing.dustiebustie78 said:Just a follow up.. My car broke down today. Spoke to the dealer again who told me to take him to court and hung up on me.
