Win A 14-night breathtaking Mediterranean Cruise Competition Terms and Conditions 

These specific competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer Media Group: Competition General Terms & Conditions at: https://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/competition-general-terms-and-conditions (the “General Terms”). 

Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms, these specific competition terms and conditions shall prevail. 

  

ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME 

Win A 14-night breathtaking Mediterranean Cruise competition running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”). 

  

ITEM 2: PROMOTER 

Bauer Radio Limited, registered office: Media House Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE2 6EA and registered under company number 01394141 (the “Promoter”) .

  

ITEM 3: WEBSITE 

The website shall be www.winhappy.com (the “Website”). 

  

ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE, END DATE AND ENTRY PERIODS 

Entry to the Competition will open and close as follows: 

Start Date: Friday 4 July 2025 at 6:00am;

Paid Entry End Date: Sunday 28 September 2025 at 11:59pm;

Postal Entry End Date: Wednesday 1 October 2025 at 6:00pm.

Any entries received before the Start Date or after the relevant End Date (as stated above) will be invalid but you may still be charged. 

We reserve the right to broadcast the Competition on our radio stations at any time throughout each day during the broadcast schedule. 

Please note that the Competition entry periods are final and are not impacted by the time of broadcast of announcements advertising how to enter the Competition, which may in some circumstances be delayed. 

  

ITEM 5: COMPETITION DETAILS 

After the start of the Competition, the prize (the “Prize”) will be announced on the Website. The Prize will be what the entrants are trying to win.

We reserve the right to announce the Prize at any time during the Competition. We may also advertise the Prize on-air, on social media or via an SMS marketing message or via any other medium at our absolute discretion. 

After the Competition has closed, one entrant from all the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”).

The entrant who is randomly selected will win the Prize on offer. We will contact the winning entrant on the email address or telephone number they have provided. 

The entrant selected may be required to talk to the presenter / programming team, and the call may be recorded and played on-air (assuming there is no breach of the Terms). 

  

ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY AND COSTS 

ONLINE 

Entrants can enter the Competition online by going to the Website. Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Competition. A single online entry costs £1.00. Paid entry bundles may be available at our discretion. There is a minimum basket spend for all transactions of £2. Please note that the use of a debit or credit card may incur charges from your provider. 

POST 

Entrants can also enter by sending their name and a contact telephone number (including area code if providing a landline number) to WINHAPPY BR4014, PO Box 8162, Derby, DE1 9GU. Entries must be sent on a postcard or on or within an envelope. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be valid or accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or postcard, only one entry will be entered into the Competition. Entrants are liable for postage costs. Postal entry bundles may be available at our discretion.

All entrants must enter on their own behalf and may not enter on behalf of anyone else. If we later become aware that the person who played the Competition was not the entrant themselves, we will disqualify this entrant and no prize will be payable to any persons involved. 

We are not responsible for any network or technical issues an entrant may experience, such as latency of the mobile phone network or delays in the delivery of postal entries, which may delay or prevent their participation or cause them to lose the Competition. 

  

ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS 

The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man), (ii) are not a Bauer employee or their immediate family (including live-in partner) and (iii) are not an employee of any third-party sponsors or prize providers, or their immediate family (including live-in partner). 

In order to enter this Competition, you must have a UK mobile number and UK registered bank account in your own name.

Entrants can enter the Competition a maximum of 100 times (including entries included in a bundle) via the 'Win a breathtaking Mediterranean cruise' competition page on the Website. Between 17:10 Friday 04/07/2025 and 17:00 Friday 11/07/2025 we will also be running a special promotion in our 'Make Me A Winner' competition, where entrants purchasing at the £20, £40, or £50 price points will receive an additional 20 entries into the 'Win a breathtaking Mediterranean cruise' competition. This takes the maximum entries (including entries included in a bundle) available via the Website to 120. 

You can also enter by post. 

Entrants must obtain permission from the bill payer before entering the Competition. 

  

ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT 

The winner may be announced on any of our radio stations, social media channels and/or the Website. The name, hometown, photo and any video or audio recording of the winner may be posted on the Website and / or social media platforms. 

By entering the Competition, the entrant is automatically consenting to being called and having their name and location announced on-air and online. 

Winning this Competition does not preclude the winner from being able to win any future Win Happy competitions. For more details on Prize Limits, please see item 4.12 ”Prize Limits” of the General Terms. 

  

ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS 

The Prize is a 14-night Mediterranean cruise for 2 people. The Prize will be booked in consultation with the winner. The winner and their guest must be able to make their own way to Southampton Port.

As part of our advertising for the Competition, we may use images of holidays winners could win. Those images are for illustrative purposes only. 

The Prize is provided by Element London Limited (07073848) having its registered office at 5 Moris Street, London SW18 1SL (“Element”). Once booked, all queries relating to the Prize shall be addressed to Element. 

The Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions. Failure to comply with such additional terms and conditions may result in travellers incurring costs and expenses and/or forfeiture of the the Prize (or any part of it). 

The Prize is for 2 people, whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary. 

At least 1 person travelling must be over the age of 18; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission.

Travel expenses are included up to the total value of £75 per person, which can be spent on petrol/parking or travel by public transport to Southampton Port.

Accommodation is based on 2 adults sharing 1 double occupancy cabin with a balcony. Accommodation will be selected by Element at their sole discretion.

A valid credit or debit card for incidentals may be required and therefore at least one of the travellers must possess and travel with a valid credit or debit card.

The Prize excludes any additional travel costs, all meals and drinks, incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the Prize package.

Travel insurance is included with the Prize. Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. Travel insurance provided is a basic single trip policy and it is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical conditions and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over; Levels of coverage will vary and it is the winner and guests responsibility to ensure that the level of coverage offered is sufficient for their circumstances.

If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at Element’s discretion.

Winners must contact Element with three preferred travel dates in three separate months, no later than six weeks prior to departure.

Once booked, the Prize cannot be amended or cancelled.

The Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available.

The Prize cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (19 December to 4 January), public holidays or in July or August.

The Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time.

All cash allowances listed will be sent via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be aged 18 years or older.

If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the Prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package.

Each traveller must hold a valid passport (with at least six months remaining on the second date of travel) and (if applicable) visa and will be responsible for their own travel entry requirements.  

All other costs and expenses outside the scope of the Prize (including taxes and upgrades not expressly stated to be part of the Prize) are the responsibility of each traveller.

The Prize cannot be taken on less than six weeks’ notice.

Delivery of the Prize is subject to the winner providing personal identification, UK bank details and / or proof of address and passing internal compliance checks within 14 days of being contacted. 

If we are unable to contact a winner to award the Prize within 14 days of the draw date, or if the winner is unable to provide us with personal identification, UK bank details and / or proof of address within 14 days of being contacted, the winner forfeits entirely their right to the Prize, and we reserve the right to award this to an alternative winner where possible. 

The Prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged and (subject to the cash element) subject to availability. The Prize cannot be combined with any other discount or offer. 

If any element of the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, we may at our discretion substitute that element of the Prize for a prize of equal or equivalent value. 

Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of the Terms, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach the Terms from entering our competitions. 

  

ITEM 10: DATA PROTECTION 

By entering the Competition, entrants are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications via SMS text message. Entrants can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 61025, 61054, 63103, 64100, 81215, 65115 or 88200. This will be charged at 1 standard network rate message. Entrants’ personal data will (regardless of whether they opt-out) always be used to process their entry. ITEM 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENT 

We will sometimes (at our discretion) telephone entrants and ask them to speak on-air. They have the right to refuse. If they consent, their voice will be recorded and they consent to this recording being used on our radio broadcasts. Entrants agree that we will own this recording and that a copy of it will be stored for further exploitation, which may include promotion. 

Entrants will not be put through to speak on-air if we think they are driving illegally, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this Competition entrants must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage our reputation, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if the entrant has won the Prize, this will be forfeited. 

  

ITEM 12: OTHER CONDITIONS 

We will only accept entries that comply with the Terms, and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. If the disqualification occurs after a winner has been announced, one further entrant from all the valid entries of that entry period will be selected by automated random draw and awarded the Prize. 

All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control. 

By entering the Competition, you agree to the Terms.

We reserve the right to amend the Terms.
