GoFundMe delaying transfer

Hello there,
Has anyone had any problems with GoFundMe? A friend of my son set up a fundraiser for him, as he has a life changing accident, & is running a marathon to raise funds. This was over 6 weeks ago & there's nearly £25k worth of family and friends donations in it. However, GoFundMe haven't set up any transfers for us yet & just seem to be giving us different excuses every time, mainly blaming their payment processor Adyen.
Has anyone else experienced any issues like this and if so, any advice & did you get the monies in the end? How long did it take? Thank you

You haven't said how long it's actually taken from setting up details and requesting a payout?

Sorry, it was set up on the 31st may & states transfers can just take 3-5 days once bank details verified. Bank details have been verified multiple times & we were told transfer would happen on the 9th June & other dates since then. They haven't & GFM keep giving different reasons as to why, none of which seem legit.

Have you looked for a complaints policy or email address? Raising a formal complaint seems like the next step.

And are they registered with the Fundraising Regulator?

Yes I've asked for their complaints policy and they apparently don't have one. I thought they legally had too but they say not. Yes, they are registered with the FG who I have also messaged and not heard back from as yet, that was early last week.

Just wondering if social media comments on their feeds would get things moving? Not abusive, just stating facts, dates, broken promises
