Hi - I sold a le creuset salt and pepper set on Vinted for £30 . It was used but great condition . The buyer reported it was damaged in transit and one was chipped - she did supply photos , although personally i could see no chip ! Vinted refunded the buyer as said item wasn’t packaged correctly . I was actually fine with this as I wouldn’t want to sell something that someone was unhappy with , however I was fully expecting them to come back to me . I messaged the buyer asking when she sent them as I haven’t received them back and she said she had no label . I told her I was happy to pay postage and offered to pay her for the postage via PayPal . She told me she didn’t have PayPal . I then messaged saying no problem I would send a pre paid post office label if she gave me her email address . She’s now ghosting me ! HELP please - I’m so upset … it’s not even about the value or the item - it’s the fact that people are actually like this !!!!

Did you box the item when posting, and importantly did you send Vinted a photo of the item boxed safely?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No - I didn’t sent Vinted a photo and it wasn’t boxed - I misjudged the packaging and so didn’t dispute it …. And because I didn’t ( and still don’t) believe they were damaged , I just accepted I’d get them back ! And I was fine with that . What I’m not fine with is the buyer receiving a refund and keeping my item0

Not sure there is much you can do at this point TBH. Maybe threaten court action - send a formal letter etc and hope it scares the buyer enough to return.
Hate it when this happens! Had it happen to be once with a £200 action camera where buyer said the video captured was blurry. eBay refunded the buyer before he even returned it to me!
I sent a formal letter threatening action, and he promptly returned it! Tested it and it was 100% perfectly fine!0
