In fact, I don't understand why they (HMRC) don't list interest received from various banks/building societies on their webpage, via secure logon. Would cut down on a lot of queries like this.
I maintain my own list. In he event of any queries I've something to submit. HMRC aren't there to provide free services,
It's not really a freebie, I just wanted something to balance my own list against. You can't control what HMRC are seeing, all you can do is check and if you think there's a problem raise it. I do phone whenever the analysis of the past fin year is complete and  run through what they've got.

Is this interest incorrectly reported for 2023/24 on which you have overpaid tax? Surely that was sorted in your P800 last year?

I actually have a complaint in with HMRC for a similar issue to the OP's (my interest from Chase in 23/24 wasn't included in the total calculated by HMRC, a SAR to Chase resulted in them providing me with spreadsheet showing what they say they submitted submitted). The issue for 23/24 was resolved by me giving HMRC the correct figures, but I can see no reason why the same thing won't occur again with 24/25 and subsequent years if the underlying discrepancy isn't resolved.
I wrote a letter of complaint on 3rd April, I had a letter back dated 12th June which basically said they had nothing from Chase, but made no reference to the spreadsheet that I'd included with my letter.
The HMRC letter included a direct number for the person who had handled the complaint, so I have been trying to speak to her for the last 3 weeks, but every time I call I just get a message to say that the person is out of the office. I did also submit a follow up online but that hasn't resulted in any response yet. If my call doesn't get answered next week I'm going to raise a Tier 2 complaint.
