Pension credit/working tax credit migration

Has anyone had an issue with transitional payments from legacy benefits please.
We were on pension credit and working tax credit (hubby does a small amount of various work, £30 a weekish after expenses and is SE and does a tax return,as recommended by his doctor to keep active due to his condition) and got a letter in january from pension credit to say that tax credits are stopping but as we were already getting pension credit (higher rate due to receiving attendance allowance) then we had to do nothing. It also said, that if we got less after the wtc stopped, then the transitional protection would apply and PC would increase.
So the wtc ended in march and we waited for the pc to increase but it didnt, and it still hasnt. Its not really about the money as we can just squeeze by on what we get. But its money that we would have been getting if the transition hadnt happened.
I am very wary about contacting the PC help line to check if we are entitled to the TP as we really do not want to rock the boat as we a mixed age couple. We do not want to have to claim UC. I am an unpaid carer for my husband although i do get carer credit and i really do not want all the stress that comes with UC.
If i call pension credit they will want to know our details so cannot talk anonymously.
Any advice would be appreciated, thank you

There is no transitional protection in your (very unusual) situation. They only provided transitional protection where someone had an award of CTC.
However, the WTC should have been taken into account as income for PC purposes, so when the WTC ended, your PC should have increased by the amount of WTC lost. Did that not happen?0 -
You don't have to worry about having to claim UC. As you were in receipt of Pension Credit prior to the introduction of the Mixed Age Couple rules then you continue to be able to claim PC under the old rules.0

Have you notified PC that your income has reduced due to etc stopping?0
