I’ve just joined, but it doesn’t let me input any predictions, has a locked padlock symbol on it, do you know why that is and also when I tried to search for MSE league name, it couldn’t find it?

The padlock symbol's showing because the first round of games is in progress, but you'll be able to enter predictions for the next round's games as soon as they become live and still gain entries for the prize draw.

As to the league, you should be able to find it fine just by enter the league code. I've just tried finding it myself and it didn't show up using the name, but did with the code.
