Parking fine

Hello,
I received a smart parking fine which stated that I had not paid the parking fee. I had kept my parking receipt so I appealed with a picture of my parking receipt.
They have sent me a letter back informing me the charge still applies as even though I did pay the parking fee I incorrectly put a 5 instead of an s when I typed in my registration. On the receipt it does look like a 5, but underneath where the word issued is, the ss also look exactly like a 5.
What do I do now?

If Smart say it is a keying error they should have reduced the charge to £20 as per Private Parking Sector Code of practice. Did they?
Edit - I'm wrong they should have cancelled as 1505grandad points out below.2 -

"Parking charges must not be pursued in relation to vehicles where evidence is provided that they are identified as:
h) where the driver has paid the tariff but made a minor keying error when registering their vehicle (for example, 0 instead of o; I instead of L; 1 instead of I); or"5 -

They'll back off.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Also never refer to these speculative invoices as "fines" - you will never see that word in any of their correspondence.2
