PCN issued "on private land" with pics of car on public road?

Today I received a PCN from FAAC Mobility services relating to a visit to Grantham Railway Station 9 days ago, demanding I pay £60 within the next 7 days or it goes up to £100.
There is supposed to be 20 minutes free parking in the short term spaces in front of the station, which are not within the usual car park areas.
There are two pictures of my car, both on the public road that goes past the station, 30 minutes apart. So not entering/leaving private land/car park, not actually parked, and no time allowed for driving up and down the public road and waiting for a short term space.
Is this a legal PCN, and apart from asking LNER to get it cancelled, can I do anything?

Please share a redacted copy of the PCN, both sides - that will help establish the grounds for their PCN (never any real grounds but you know, we'll entertain it for now)!

Don't cover the times/dates or location - but personal data including car VRM yes

Hi There, I also got one at Grantham station, i didnt go into the car park, i was waiting outside in a bay (not in the car park) for a delayed train so was there for 31 minutes, any chance of getting any help or seeing if i have a leg to stand on? Thanks!! Thorndorise said:
