Will be buying. Is it true that the controllers stillrun on batteries !? I have older X boxs 0ne and 360 and both of these are rechargable. If true, can I use the older controllers on the newer machine?TIA

Well I am using the older Xbox and the newer Xbox One X/S controllers on a PC. Unless your game needs the 3rd centre button
then your OK.  The newer one will be USB C on the controller so don't use the older rechargeable batteries because they have a short
    life for some reason.

They take AA batteries - but you can put in rechargeable batteries and use the USB-C port on the front to recharge them.

"Unless your game needs the 3rd centre button
