What's the difference?-8cm DVD-RW & +RW?

Hi,

I am interested in buying a Sony DVD106 or 306 camcorder and want to buy some 8cm DVD to use with it.

What is the difference between DVD-RW and +RW?

I can't seem to find which ones I should buy with any of the reviews for these camcorders.

Also make sure the ones you get are compatible with all the machines you will put them in, the DVD player attached to the TV etc.
