Just a quick tap in to the knowledge base.
I tried a search in the forum but couldn't quite find what I'm after.
What is the maximum size memory stick that can be used in a PSP slim & lite?
I think it's running 3.8, would it be better to downgrade this?
My aim is to fill up a MS with some games and possibly a film/music/pictures.
thanks,
knuckledragger

gaming_guy,
MyMemory agrees with you:
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/compatible-memory/Gaming/Sony/Sony_PSP_Slim_Memory_Cards
And MobyMemory are doing them for £28.99:

Has anyone seen them cheaper elsewhere? I'm avoiding the Ebay route due to the number of fakes being punted out on there.
As I'm getting a 4Gb and 2Gb card there'll be no p&p either.
And speaking of fakes, how to spot them:

From what I've read PSP's can take 8GB cards.
...and Moby Memory say the 8GB Sony Micro M2 can also be used (with an adapter) with PSPs. They have a great price right now as well - £53.

elcodo,
I saw on a couple of sites that other memory cards could be used with adaptors but my brain is now getting sore trying to work out which to use.
Is any software required to use an 8Gb card from another format?...and then the window licker said to me...0 -

No software should be required. They either work or dont. For example, a "Micro SDHC" (SD High Capacity) memory card will not work in a PSP, even with a "Micro SD to MS Pro Duo adapter" as there is difference in technical specifications of a stadard micro SD and Micro SDHC memory card. Apparently they work fine in any SDHC Device but not in a PSP.0
