European football match tickets

Hi there. I'm after some advice from anyone with knowledge/experience about the best/cheapest way to get tickets for top European clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG etc. My son has just finished his GCSEs and I'd love to treat him to something like this in the coming season.  Thank you.

This is a very open ended question. 

Lots of variables - which club(s) do you wish to take in, the standard of seat you are looking at and factors like which two teams are in opposition ?

The clubs you list won't be cheap especially if playing another big name side.

I believe that domestic Bundesliga matches are much less expensive than other comparable major leagues in Europe - I know of one regular member of a football forum I frequent who says BVB Dortmund is a good experience and DIY transport arrangements are not too difficult - but beware such "anorak" opinions !!!

There are specialist travel agents in this area - but I suspect the costs may be eye watering.
