    Canva on Capital Network, July 2025 –Specific Rules 
       
    1.    The Canva promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Friday 27th June 2025 to Sunday 6th July 2025 on Capital Network. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is Canva. The ‘Prize Provider’ for the Creative Course and Camera is NDL. The ‘Prize Provider’ for the Canva Subscription is Canva.    

    2.    IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.   
       
    Details of the Promotion:   
       
    3.    To enter the Promotion you must:    
    a.    Go online to the Promotion entry page which can be accessed at capitalfm.com/win or via the Global Player app by clicking on the Win with Capital tile;   
    b.    Register your details;    
    c.    Create an original design using Canva that reflects the theme “Friendship or Allyship” and meets the criteria outlined below.   

    4.    Upload your original design to the Promotion entry page. Your file must be in JPEG or PNG format and must not exceed 2MB in size.   

    5.    To do this, you will need to create a free Canva account at www.canva.com if you do not already have one.  

    6.    Entries will be judged by a panel of judges including one independent judge on the following criteria   
    a.    how bold the design is.    
    b.    how creative the design is.    
    c.    how uplifting the design is.   

    7.    Entries deemed by Global to be rude, offensive, defamatory, illegal (including by reason of infringing third party intellectual property) or condoning dangerous behaviour will be removed from the Promotion.   

    8.    Online entry will open at 17:00 on Friday 27th June 2025 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 6th July 2025. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.   

    9.    Bulk, automated, machine assisted, third party, syndicate or other group entries are prohibited and we will disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim any associated prize from you) which, in our reasonable opinion, appear to have used any of these entry methods or, for example (without limitation), entries or votes that have been made from the same IP address, email address, postal address, telephone number, or similar or entries which we, at our sole discretion but acting reasonably, consider to be suspicious or fraudulent.   

    10.    If we know or suspect you are trying to enter or have entered this Promotion by using more than one phone number or if we know or suspect you are using variations of  your name, we reserve the right to disqualify any relevant entry(ies) and exclude you from this Promotion and also permanently exclude you from entering any of our Promotions.  

    11.    Within 7 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. 50 entries will be selected at random and will be reviewed by the judges against the criteria outlined above. One entry will be selected as a winning entry and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone on the telephone number with which you registered to enter the Promotion. If such winner does not respond within 24 hours from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and the judging panel shall be entitled to select another winner from the original list of 50 entries. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification email within 1 day of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.   

    12.    If none of the shortlisted 50 entries are deemed to meet the stated criteria, another 50 entries will be drawn at random and one entry will be selected as the winner and contacted as outlined above.   

    13.    If less than 50 entries enter the competition, all Entrants will be randomly selected and the Judging Panel will select a winner based on the criteria.    

    14.    By submitting your entry to this Promotion, you:   
    a.    confirm that you have obtained the consent of all individuals that feature in your submission (in the case of children under the age of 18, you have obtained the consent of the child’s parent/guardian) and agree to notify us immediately if their consent is withdrawn at any time;   
    b.    confirm that you have followed Canva’s Terms of Use when creating the design (as available at < https://www.canva.com/policies/terms-of-use/ > from time to time); and  
    c.    represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship by you, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights.   

    15.    We and the Promotion Partner and the Prize Provider may publish and publicise your [submission, name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example any one included in the submission/a guest/a travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion; subject always to our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws.   

    16.    In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable in connection with the Promotion, unless you object to your and/or your guest’s information being published or made available. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.   

    17.    This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Apple.

    18.    The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.   

    19.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.    

    20.    Only one name and telephone number may be used by you in relation to this Promotion. The use of multiple names, telephone numbers and/or devices is a breach of our Promotion Terms and Conditions and we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and you will forfeit your prize should we know or have reason to believe that you attempted to use or did use more than one name, phone number and/or device to enter this Promotion. It is also prohibited for anyone else to enter the Promotion using the same phone number including household members or friends.    

    21.    Before transferring any winnings to you we reserve the right to request:  

    a.    Photo ID (such as your passport or driving licence) and confirmation that the telephone number you entered on belongs to you and proof of your home address (such as a phone bill with your name, address and telephone number on). You agree and understand that should you win a cash prize you may be required to provide these to verify your eligibility; and  
    b.    your original Canva design file/s.   

    22.    If you fail to provide the requested information and we are unable to verify your eligibility, we reserve the right to withhold any prize from you.

    Prize Specific T&Cs – Creative Activity, Apple iPad and Camera:   
     
    24.    Should these products be unavailable at the time of purchase for the winner, the NDL Group reserves the right to substitute with an alternative of equal or greater value. Specifications are subject to change from the manufacturer without notice.  22. Winner’s choice of creative online course will be in the form of a Centre of Excellence E-gift voucher, where the winner can choose from a selection of classes. Customer should treat e-gift cards like cash. Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced. E-gift card will expire after 12 months. Customer will not be able to use this card after that date and any unused balance on the card will be lost. Card can be redeemed online.    

    25.     The maximum value of the course is £130.   

    26.     All products will be delivered within 28 working days from the date that NDL receives confirmation of the delivery address from the winner. NDL will do their best to adhere to these time frames, however due to the ongoing uncertainty with World events, there may be delays with stock availability and deliveries.   
       
    Prize Specific T&Cs – 10-year Canva Pro Subscription:   
     
    27.    Entrants must have used Canva to create the winning design, and have an active Canva account at the time of winning in order to receive the prize.   

    28.    The 10-year Canva Pro Subscription Prize is a personal Canva Pro subscription.   

    29.    In the event a Winner has an existing subscription to Canva Pro (whether yearly or monthly) the prize will commence at the expiry of the Winner’s existing subscription period.   All specifics of the 10 year Canva Pro Subscription shall be solely determined by Canva. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others is permitted. If for any reason there are logistical or other issues with providing a prize, Canva may at its sole discretion provide a substitute prize of equivalent value.   

    30.    When using the 10-year Canva Pro Subscription Prize, you must abide by Canva’s Terms of Use (as available at < https://www.canva.com/policies/terms-of-use/ > from time to time).

    31.    Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.   

    32.    Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Promoter and Sponsor Canva to use the Winners’ names, likeness, and Entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation.   

    33.    You understand that should you win a prize package that is made up of various elements you are required to redeem all aspects of the prize in order to keep the prize. For example, you will not be able to accept the spending money only. If you are unable to accept the prize awarded in full, we reserve the right to withdraw the entire prize package and select another entrant to play or win as applicable.    

    34.    Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, anything not listed above is not included within the prize.   

    35.    The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except at our sole discretion.   

    36.    We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

    Digital Screen Display:   
      
    38.    The winning entrant’s design will be used by Canva on a digital advertising Out-of-Home (OOH) screen in London, UK (“Digital Screen Display”).    

    39.    By submitting an entry, you understand and consent that Canva, and anyone acting on behalf of Canva, may print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use your Entry on the Digital Screen Display for marketing and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.   

    40.       The exact date, time, duration, and location of the display will be determined at Canva’s sole discretion and are subject to change.   

    41.    Global and Canva reserve the right to amend, adapt, or reformat the winning design as necessary, including to meet technical, editorial, or creative requirements of the screen or campaign or licensing requirements.   

    42.    The final version of the design used in the digital display may differ from the entrant’s original submission. All final decisions on design format and content rest with Global and Canva.   

    43.    The winner will not be entitled to any fees, royalties, or further compensation related to the use, adaptation, or public display of their design.   

    44.    The winner may be credited where reasonably practicable, but this cannot be guaranteed.   

    45.    If the Entrant uses their own uploaded media in their Entry, they are guaranteeing that they have the rights to use the uploaded media in this way and they give an unlimited, perpetual license to Canva.   
     
    Data Protection:   
     
    46.    Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.   

    47.    By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data.   

    48.    You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us and/or our Promotion Partner when you enter a Promotion.     50.    When you enter a Promotion we will retain your personal data for up to three years for internal purposes and to comply with our regulatory obligations.
