Amazon price increase.

Up to a year ago, I'd only ever subscribed to Amazon's video streaming service at £5.99 a month. Then I added the ads-free service at an extra £2.99 a month.
They've now advised me that from the 30th June, the video streaming service will increase by £2 to £7.99 a month, meaning I'll be paying £10.98 a month just for their videos with no ads. I'm thinking this is going to prove a charge too far, and I'm very tempted to cancel, since there is not a great deal of what they offer that attracts me that much nowadays.
Their normal Prime membership is £8.99, so it now appears for £1 extra you'll benefit from full Amazon benefits. With this minimal price differential of £1, I'm guessing in future not too many are going to be persuaded to plump for the video streaming service alone?
