I must be missing something.
When I do my Royal Mail postage label I am able to put on the Tariff code but not my EORI number although when I print the label there is a box for it so I write it in but why can't it type it?

Would you describe yourself as a retail customer of Royal Mail considering you're not using an account to log into click and drop? And if so, Royal Mail's own guidance, you typically don't need an EORI number if you're moving goods that are:
Not controlled goods (e.g., weapons, certain chemicals).
For personal use only (gifts, personal items, etc.).

It's not really a problem to write it in but as there is a box I couldn't see why it didn't come up for me to type it in.0
