Best insurers for buildings/contents cover on a previously flooded property.

Our house flooded back in 2017 due to a blocked culvert. At the time we were with L&G, and have stayed with them ever since as the premium stayed reasonable even afterwards - plus we were told by a broker that it's unlikely any other insurer would touch us for a long time.
Fast forward, L&G have been taken over by LV and it's obvious they don't want us as a customer. The premium went up about 30% last year, and the renewal has come through this year at about 65% higher, meaning the price has more than doubled in two years.
So, can anyone who's been in a similar situation recommend the best path to get cover on a property with a (one-off) history of flooding? All the price comparison sites just say you need to call due to the history and I don't really want to have to phone every insurer to be told they aren't interested in covering us... There must be a better way?
