Hello,
Looking for some advice really as I’m not sure whether to pursue a refund
I work 3 different jobs - all connected to the NHS. One is a clinical role, one is a teaching role, another is a management job. I love working all three.

I wasn’t aware initially when I started working, but have since found out about a loophole in the student loan system. Whereby, as none of my individual salaries take me over the repayment threshold, I don’t pay back much (if any at all) of my student loan. Whereas the combined salary of all 3 would place be in the repayment zone.
Occasionally, over the last few years, there have been the odd occasion where in a month with a lot of overtime, or backpay, I might go over the monthly threshold and have some deductions taken. But if my annual entitlement for that job didn’t go over the threshold, would I be able to claim it back? If it were my only job, I think I would be entitled to a refund. But I’m not sure if it’s worth me investigating with SLC, for a relatively small amount per job each. What I don’t want to happen is for them to suddenly sting me for a large repayment bill if I go ahead and ask for the refund

You can only get a refund if your annual income is below the threshold though. Otherwise the repayments stand.1
