Some advice please

I have read the Newbies thread but I am a bit confused and wondered if you can help me out here. I parked at a private hospital where my daughter had to attend an appointment regarding an accident - it was an insurance solicitor enforced appointment. The hospital is Spire St Anthony in Cheam, London. I parked up and the signs were pretty confusing but I knew I had to enter my registration plate into an ipad to get free parking for 40 mins. I went into the hospital, explained where my car was and put the details into the ipad, taking a photo of this. A few weeks later I was hit with a charge from Parking Awareness. I tried to hospital to have the ticket waived but they couldn't do it saying I put my details into the wrong ipad (?!!) then I appealed to IAS (which I now know is pointless but I was following process). The appeal was rejected and since I have had several letters threatening court and CCJs. I have a letter before claim (which is incorrect - says 30 days from 30th June is 3rd July!). I have a job that means I cannot have a CCJ or go to court or I will lose my job.
Do I deal with this company ELMS Legal and explain the situation, showing them the evidence? Or do I ignore this until a CCJ is issued and potentially lose my job?

If heed our advice you wont get a CCJ, no threat to your job at all
Respond by email to ELMS Legal using the LoC response template in the second post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum
Do not explain anything, do not share evidence, now is not the time for that, take this in stages, following our advice all the time ( do not ignore )
Ensure that the DPO at the parking company has the correct address for the service of papers, your address, plus confirm it to Elms Legal too, because you don't want paperwork going astray
Ensure that your V5c log book is up to date too, as well as your driving licence1 -
Thanks - I no longer have the car so don’t have the V5 - will that be an issue. I’ll find the template and use that (thank you!)0

no, not a problem , just a belt and braces approach to get everyone up to date, including the DVLA if it was required1
