Good afternoon,

I've had a scam claim from APCOA at Manchester. A slightly different scenario, though.

I've an account with them, as I use it regularly. I also have a concession account, so I've no idea why I've been issued it.

Anyway, I've told them this and they've come back asking for the usual driver info, etc.

The reason why im not sure wether to give them the info, is I don't know if they're asking yo verify the concession account, the Airport account or just want to follow through with the 'fine'.

    Tell them you won't be identifying the driver (as is your legal right) and as the Manchester Airport is 'not relevant land' as per the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, there is no option for them to hold the registered keeper liable. You look forward to their early cancellation.

    Consider adding your signature to the 708 who are asking the Govt to:

    Tell them this is now a formal complaint: stop digging and just cough up the POPLA code, otherwise you'll report them to the BPA and your MP because pretending that appeal is conditional upon the driver's details being given is classic rogue practice. State that you will also use your case as evidence for the current MHCLG Public Consultation.
