Good afternoon, just to update, mediation did not settle, I offered £5, then £10, they ended up rejecting as they wanted £180

Is that it or was there a page 2 , or 2 & 3. ?
You are the defendant, so why are you worried about a court order telling the claimant a set of instructions. ?
There is nothing on that first page that applies to you ( the defendant. )
3 -
Now, you have the deadline for your witness statement, so, assuming the claimant pays the fee, make sure you submit the WS before the deadline.
3 -
As above, entirely as expected, 3 deadlines for those involved
Hearing fee deadline, 9th October
WS bundle deadline , 12th October
Hearing date and time ( currently pencilled in. ) on 6th November
You should prepare your WS bundle, just in case, but you can expect DCB LEGAL to discontinue by 9th October, probably by email, with an N279 discontinuation document

Do check your junk folder too for that DCB LEGAL email then post a redacted copy of your N279 document here.

Worried … why? What's not to like?
You were expecting this stage (it's in the NEWBIES thread post 2 under the screaming red capitals sub-heading 'IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN') and you should know from @Umkomaas' DCB Legal disco thread, that this is the 'end game' when they'll pester you to settle.
Then - when you ignore their calls - DCB Legal will send you the inevitable Notice of Discontinuance.
Nearly there now!
