I sometimes wonder why phones don't have a setting to stop at 95%
Some Android phones have this setting. Xiaomi & Pixel have charge to 80%0 -
Apple have a charging limit on their mobile devices that you can set anywhere between 80% and 100%. You can similarly set it so it stops at 80% and only charges above 80% to maximum when it believes you will be going to use it... obviously works best for overnight charges if you get up at a regular time.prowla said:

I think my Samsung stopped at 97% the other day.0 -
My current (posting this from it) Samsung A13, a fairly basic model, has a "Stop charging at 80%" setting, so check your own phones battery settings:My new Win11 Lenovo laptop has a similar 80% setting that supposedly prolongs battery life if you mainly use it plugged in.This is the Samsung setting

The higher end Samsung mobiles have an 'adaptive' battery charging mode which uses AI to protect the battery, eg if you always charge overnight it won't fast charge0

Have look at: Settings->Battery & Device Care->Battery->Protect Batteryprowla said:
