Is it easy to install hard drive from one laptop to another? Cracked screen on laptop!

Under devices/drives there's Windows (C) and Recovery (D) do these need to be copied as well unto USB stick?Just back up your user data. No need to back up the OS as that can be reinstalled easily. Back up any install programs of software you can't easily download again.Backing up to the cloud or not is a personal choice. Do you want more locations of your backups to protect against potential issues with backups located in your home (such as your house burning down destroying your backup)?

Youtuber Ask Leo (@askleonotenboom) has several useful videos on using OneDrive and whether or not it's sufficient as a backup.1

Alternatively - replace Screen panel !Have we discovered what brand and model the original laptop is ?
