Well it reopens at noon today. Depends how bothered he is about 11 days out of a £16.99 a month gym fee.

This bit is fine IMO as it's clear what to expect from the outset.

This is not so fine, how is the consumer supposed to know how often they will clean and how long it takes, what are events outside their control, refurbishment could go on months.

I think that lot would be classed as unfair but as above if the gym is £16.99 a month and they can close for 2 days of the year, assuming no other closures it's probably not worth going to war for 5 pounds and 10 pence.

The website actually states the 11 day closure on it, with it reopening today.

Not sure what else they could do, the area has many of their gyms.

Sounds like what they have offered is fair enough. Looks like 35 minute walk to the one mentioned above, most gym goers would be able to walk that.

    Perhaps not.  :D

A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".
