Returning custom Ray-Bans

Hi
I used the Ray-Ban website to create some sunglasses for my wifes birthday present.
I've got a bad feeling she won't like them though.
Am I allowed to return them with 14 days, or because they're custom and they've our kids names etched onto the arms behind the ear, will that mean I can't.
Thanks
Richard

Personalised items are normally excluded from returns due to a change of mind, so read the Ts and Cs.
Only if they are faulty will you be entitled to a refund.0 -
I agree. If the customising was simply choosing options of colour, for example, then you'd have another option.0

You have thoughtfully customised them so they are special for your wife.
You are overthinking this. It sounds a lovely gift.0 -

The general situation is if the "customisation" is selecting from a drop down menu from a range of choices, that is not bespoke and the rights to return should be available. Essentially, the product can be re-sold.
Having your children's names etched into the arms is really rather more specific - if the glasses were returned, Ray-Ban would require a replacement customer who has has children named Jim and Jo (or whatever). TBH, that is quite unlikely. Refund for change of mind seems unlikely to be available in this case.
I am surprised, though, that you have gone to such effort to get a thoughtful and personal gift for your wife and the concern now arises that she won't be grateful.0 -
Thanks for everyones responses
Maybe I'm overthinking this. I'm just worried the lenses won't be right.1 -

I have Ray-Ban glasses with prescription sunshade lenses. I suspect the Optician could fit standard (non-prescription) sunshade lenses at fairly low cost (even if they bleat at the frames not being supplied by them and risk of damage blah-blah).0 -
