Just had an e-mail that Experian are now offering a free monthly credit report in their app.  Tried it and it is, as expected, the fairly basic version but does show all accounts and searches. So all 3 CRA reports are once again available free.

Thanks for the heads-up, really appreciated.
Does anyone know if its just on the app version or does it also now show accounts and searches via the laptop version?

i would be tempted to get the laptop version if it does.

Exclusive to the app, desktop only gives a link to get the statutory report.

That's interesting @molerat - I just checked my app and no free report for me, still invited to sign up to the paid service.

I know they offer the report to certain customers for free - someone else at MSE has it in their app.

So doesn't seem to be universal. But would be interested in the experience of anyone else reading this thread, how many are being offered this?

Yesterday I received my regular email from Experian inviting me to view my credit report. My experience is the same as @molerat: now I cannot view my full report unless I install the app (no thanks).

And today I received a second email inviting me to "take a few minutes to let us know about your recent experience using your Experian account." So they are monitoring who is clicking on the original link.

I got the email today and started a new thread and someone redirected me here.

I have also just seen the following on their website when I log in. But access to the full report is only on the app which I already had.
