Waterproofing a wooden shed with Protek stable coat

I've had my new wooden pressure treated shed coated with Protek stable coat as recommended by the local shed manufacturer. I've noticed that the inner edges of the door haven't had Protek applied to them. Would there be a reason for this,or should I paint some of the left-over Protek on these edges because rain water could seep into the tiny gaps between the shed and the edges of the shed door?

Can't think of any reason they'd have missed this, other than laziness...Yes, I'd treat these bits, too, because driving rain will get around the door front, and get to the edges.Could we have a pic, please, to see what it all looks like?0

Shed envyYes, I'd open the door fully, and coat any raw unfinished edges you see.Inc the top and bottom edges of the door - the latter is actually more important, as rain will end up there to drip off, so that edge will be soaked a lot more than any other part. Ditto all the bottom edges of the sides.Happy New Shed.0
