    Adding to the most comprehensive answer from @poseidon1 above, I'm just wondering, were the grandchildren left a specific amount small enough to enable a JISA to be opened for each of them (I believe £9k is the annual limit)? Because if the amount they are each to receive is more than that limit, even if the will had been more clearly drafted, then the kind of account into which it's paid becomes more complicated.
