Hi all
Can anybody suggest a printer that I can use to print clock cards on for work? In the picture shown you can see that we have a HP printer that used to do the job perfectly, but of late the computer is giving up the ghost. Basically, its just an excel file with all employee names in tabs. We press print and the printer loads the cards into the bottom tray and up through the printer.
Any advice on a capable printer guys?

So the printer is just putting Number, Name & W/ending onto pre-printed timecard stock?
How many cards are you printing a week?
Is that printer used for other print jobs?1 -
Is it not more cost effective to get a printshop to run off a couple of years worth of cards?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

I think lots of printers will print card stock up to 200gsm. Just check the spec.I’m confused by the op which says it is the computer that is faulty, not the printer. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1

Any MFP could do that. You can pickup second hand Brother MFP's on ebay for cheap.0

Bottom feeder printers tend to decide they don't want to know after a while in my experience.A top loader may invite unwanted bodies in but that aside they tend to be more reliable in that department in my experience as gravity helps, until said body causes the paper to go askew.Paperclips, pen tops, rubber bands... There's a top cover on those for a reason1
