Universal Credit asking for bank statements

Hi, I am claiming UC and they asked me for copies of bank statements for all my accounts. I have an account with my mum in Poland with her being the main holder. She borrowed me some money which was transferred to my UK account. The UC is now asking for statements from our polish account but my mum did not agree to share her information with another country. Any advice?
Many thanks

If you hold a joint account, then that will need to be declared also, along with any other deposits you may hold regardless of where in the world or what format. It includes premium bonds and balances in services such as Paypal.0 -
If the funds came from a joint account then you'll somehow have to prove the funds were from your mother and not just money that you already had there and have sent over.
If she has LENT you the money then do you have a written agreement to prove that and have you paid any back?

You should have already provided them with statements from the joint account anyway.
So your mother will have no choice but to let your provide the copies.Life in the slow lane0 -
If it is a joint account then I don't think you have much choice but to supply statements as requested...
..I would assume you do not need anyone else's permission to access and provide such from the account?

The mother does have a choice about providing copies. She has already refused. If she continues to refuse it may well affect the ability of the OP to continue receiving UC.0 -

Let's Be Careful Out There0 -
Your mother cannot borrow you money because any money in the joint account is also yours since it is a joint account. This is why UC want to see the account because they want to see how much money you have. You will not be able to tell them that it is a joint account but the money is not yours as they will not believe you. I don't think you need her permission to send them bank statements if it is a joint account. If you do not want to then tell them that your mother does not want to do this and see what happens.0
