Do Cahoot issue certificates of interest?
I can only find the account summary document which details everything but doesn't totalise the interest received.
Am I too early in looking or do you need to request one.

Cahoot and Santander issue the account summary document instead - it contains the same information as a certificate of interest.1spiral said:Do Cahoot issue certificates of interest?I can only find the account summary document which details everything but doesn't totalise the interest received.Am I too early in looking or do you need to request one.
You can add up the interest earned on each account to get the total earned.
I agree it would be more user friendly if they provided a total figure as well1 -
At least you get a summary sheet. Some building societies do not provide one and you have to go through each account to find a certificate of interest.1

Thanks for the info. In 23-24 for Santander I got an account summary which only contained information about interest. For Cahoot they detail every transaction for the period and for some obscure reason totalise the amount paid in and the amount paid out but not interest which seems somewhat odd. It does segregate the monthly interest payments though so as you say, not the end of the world to totalise it.gt94sss2 said:
